DEFIBRILLATOR info. How to unlock it. New and old players should read.

Here's what counts towards points to unlock it by playing SURROUNDED mode so that you can make this item in SURVIVAL Mode.

1) Rations
2) Petrol
3) Trap Damage
4) Combat Kills
5) Survivors
6) Karma Bonus

SPOILERS... DON'T READ MORE IF YOU CARE.

That said, here's how I belive it breaks down...
1) Rations... your food... maybe your water too... you will be able to make a freezer and get some extra off of wildlife via traps if you play right... and you will be able to make water collectors too.
2) Petrol... don't trade it when you can early on. Hold onto it. You'll burn bodies along the way. I upgraded my generator to give more power. worked for me to reduce what I was using
3) Traps... I had 3 spike traps, 2 shotgun traps, and 1 auto sniper gun trap (whatever it's called)... that was enough. Make sure you have first aid kits... you will be fighting, but the traps will help.
4) Combat kills... OK.,,, this one is tough... balance your traps with your ability and later on ensure your dog doesn't steal your kills (not sure if dog kill stealing takes away, but better to be safe than sorry)
5) Survivors... I had the wife, child, and dog
6) Karma Bonus... I was nice in the wasteland while playing as the husband during the cut-scenes... apparently this is worth points later on.

After a few tries, I got 1155. It was VERY frustrating, but I must say, I LOVE this game. My first run I got 9955 and missed the 10K mark by 45 points... I clicked unknowingly and didn't see the breakdown of points. A few tries later, I got it.

WHEN YOU UNLOCK THIS... you DO NOT start with it, but you must build it from the specials category. You do not need it if you know how to play the game, but if you want to unlock it, the above info will help. *****************I must have had a bugged save which caused all of my people to die when they turned ALMOST red. I mean, it's possible for someone to want the defibrillator while also not liking surrounded, and to not want to trudge through something they find un-fun just to get something, but then fail at the end and have to do everything over again.

Either way most good video games are made to have fun or waste time however you'd like to, not prove you're better than other people who can't or don't want to do something you did.

i failed 3 times+ .. so many hours just for a unlock when i want to play survival x)

Top of ladder during cutscene = stuck...
Unconcious during cutscene = game reload cutscene and freeze when defibilator is used. (repeat everytime i reload and try revive)

Aand i still not managed to even complete it, the game glitched out on multiple saves.
