Is there anyway to disable the tutorial? I don't need to know the basics every run through.

You were given the option to start the game with or without, like right after you are done setting the names for the family and pet. Once you set it, there's no way to toggle it on/off after that.

I did need it the first time I played, but not now. This really needs patched as I'll have to delete the game data and re-install to get rid of this annoyance.

You do not need to reinstall, but you need a new savegame.

Right click on a savegame to delete it, it will free up the slot for you to create another. Be sure to say no to tutorial!
