Why I cannot open the game? I just see a white screen.

Go to your library and right click on Sheltered. Go down to properties, then go to the Local Files tab. Click verify integrity of game files and it should fix any problems. if that doesn't work, uninstall the game and reinstall it. If that doesn't work, i can't help you, but i would check that your computer meets the requirements as stated on the store page.

I tryed but it doesn't work. What can I do?

My computer:

Windows 10 64bit ( DirectX 12 )
AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Kingston DDR4 2400MHz 16GB)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070

Hi, I also have exactly the same problem. I tried like a dozen times changing every possible setting, restarting, reinstalling. Just a white screen window. The game menu sound plays, but nothing on the screen. Tried verifying game cache integrity. Its all good. It doesn't work

Sounds like a resolution issue. Perhaps you can try the solution that the devs have posted elsewhere? This seem to work for many of the people here with the same problem.

1. Press windows key + R
   
2. Type "regedit"
   
3. Go to to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Team17\Sheltered
   
4. Double click Screenmanager Is Fullscreen mode_h(some random numbers)
   
5. Under "Base", click Hexadecimal and enter the value 1 and click OK
   
6. Double click on Screenmanager Resolution Height_h(some random numbers)
   
7. Under "Base", click Hexadecimal and enter the value "300" and click OK
   
8. Double click Screenmanager Resolution Width_h(some random numbers)
   
9. Under "Base", click Hexadecimal and enter the value "550" and click OK
   
10. Retest the game

If you have any overclocking software, such as RivaTuner, disable it and retest
