Food Poisoining is very broken
Almost every time one of my survivors eat meat from my freezer, which has power and doesnt have rotten food, they get food poisoning. They shower and everything but they always get food poisoning. Am i missing something?

Have you built a stove so they can cook the meat? If they are eating raw meat they will almost always get food poisoning. If you have a stove then they are getting food poisoning from being dirty when they eat. If their filth bar is in the red they need to shower before eating.

As I said in my post, they shower, and the stove doesn't say anything about cooking the food, all it says is that is warms it up a little. The devs should really actually put useful descriptions in if cooking food is a mechanic

The meat itself says that it needs to be cooked. You REALLY need to read.

Reading is half the battle the other is cooking the meat.

Yea, get a stove buddy. Even the game basically tells you that you shouldn't eat raw meat. :trolol:
It's funny, the guy clearly has better survival skills in real life. Based on his avatar and user name, I would make the assumption that he isn't a teenager as his humour of Nacho Man Randy Savage fits somewhere between 1 and HAHA DAD JOKE HAHA.

Unless of course he still lives in his moms basement and the closest thing he knows about meat is either every time he sadly wanks off to really shameful "mature" porn or when he is hungry and yells upstairs for his mom to make him some, oh I don't know... meatloaf?! MOM, WHERE'S THE MEATLOAF??? Then again this was an easy one since it describers half the commentators on Steam, including myself.

Sorry, I had higher expectations for you humans.

This should be obvious even without reading the in-game descriptions. You don't eat raw meat. Period. if you've managed to build a freezer you should be able to at least build a poor stove as well.
Ryuu Aug 6, 2017 @ 4:00am
Well, the game is not always logical, real horses don't eat meat be it raw or cooked :hee:
I didnt see anywhere where it said you had to actually cook the meat so I didnt think it was a mechanic, all the poor stove says it does it warm the food up a little so that you get more hunger satisfaction from it so i had no idea, but thanks.
Also, I love it when a steam level 0 thinks he can try to call people "kids" haha, open up that private profile baby boy, what you hiding?
Update: Built a stove, had someone shower until they didnt have a bar, and made them eat

THEY GOT FOOD POISONING.

It's level 0 because it's private, noob. Learn some Steam.

If the meat is rotten, no amount of cooking works.

I think the probability of getting food poisoning from meat decreases when you build an higher tier stove.
