I kept the same save after the update, I didn't create a new one, maybe that's the problem
Something to do with the update I believe. Maybe the difficulty changes effected achievement unlocks?
@pr1ncesskaty, looks like you aren't alone :)
Sorry to hear that you've been having this problem.
I'm raising the matter to the team now so that they can carry out an investigation.
To help them in this effort, I'd like to ask that anyone not getting achievements please respond with the following:
Thank you,
BenTeam17
1: Everything worked for me until the 1.5 update
2: It looks like all of them are not working. Definitely, the RV, gun usage and collect all tools are not working
3: Normal (started game before difficulty was a thing)
4: Windows 7
Thanks for getting back in touch with all of this info.
The team have put together a speculative fix to resolve this issue.
Before we put the fix out, I'd like to ask for your help to check if it works.
If you're experiencing this issue and are willing to help, please follow the steps below.
These will install a special version of the game on your machine, which includes the fix.
- Load Steam
- From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
- Select the Betas tab
- Type the beta access code "RadiationPoisoning" (without quotes)
- Click the Check Code button
- Expand the drop-down and select "Bugfix_Branch - Bug Fix Update 4.1"
- Click close in the bottom right of the screen
Once you've completed these steps, the game should perform a quick update. If this doesn't happen, please run a file cache integrity check to force the change.
Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
Please let me know how you get on.
If we have a positive response to this change, we'll plan to roll it out live shortly after.
Thank you,
BenTeam17
The expedition that was taking place before the beta did not count towards miles but did count towards places searched.
The next expedition did count towards miles.
That's all I'm able to test at the moment but as far as I can tell things are looking peachy.
