How to get meat from traps?

Sorry if this is a basic info but I just got the game. My situation: the only trap I have catched a bunny but no one is able to get the meat because I don't have "inventory space", even after building a lvl 2 conteiner that gave me 52 slots. What I'm doing wrong?

meat also have massive trade value. its worth it to have a few traps to get meat and hide. I have yet to find a way to use the fat though. assuming it for soap but I got max toolbench and most of the things you can build

I'm playing on easy, 50+ days with no problem so far... People complain too much. The game is fine. Time to try the normal difficulty.

Easy lmao

To be honest this game isn't hard once you get the basics. Hardcore just makes things really inconvenient, it doesn't get to the point where you will get a gameover on your first try unless you mess it up really badly.

You make soap using the Laboratory (Tier 4 structure) - 1 animal fat and 1 honey. You can also use animal fat to make Animal Repellant - 4 garlic, 2 animal fat, 1 ginger root, 1 holy basil.

The person using the laboratory must have at least 10 Intelligence.

I just trade Rations and Gas away. I don't even need Fuel with the addition of Animal Fat for burning lol
