Fix 3D/Hardware Acceleration Not Available on Windows 10

A fix for those that are experiencing the same issues I was on Windows 10. This patch was created specifically for the 'Not enough video memory.' error. If you experienced any other error, chances are that this patch is not suitable for you. Leave a comment and I might resolve your error message :-).
As this patch was performed on the Steam executable of the game, I tend to believe that it doesn't work for the physical version :-(.

Hello Cheez thanks once again for this fix.. I'm afraid it has caused a different problem for me though, my rank/high scores are not being saved. Each time I start a game I'm having to play through the tutorial & am at trainee rank regardless of what rank I reached in my previous game. How do I fix this?

Had to reinstall my OS but now I'm getting sound but a black screen & a 'Failed to load image:images\600\loadingscreen\fill error.. any ideas?

There. Followed the directions in the video and it worked perfectly for me.

Backed up the exe and the cfg files and replaced those with the cfg and the steam exe from the zip file. Game runs on full hd resolution now with all settings enabled :)

Modern systems turn it off by default. 3D acceleration was made with older video drivers/cards in mind, so it actually decreases performance substantially if used on modern hardware.
