3D acceleration - its kind of joke?

Without this I cant play in higher resolution. But I cant turn on 3D because there is an info:

"Your video card does not meet the minimum requirements for this game"

I have RTX2080Ti, so is it game for only 3080 or for next gen?

Calm down. It’s a bug. You’re going to need to patch the game. Download the patch for bejeweled twist, run the reg file, open the game’s folder and replace the compat.cfg file and the exe file with BejeweledTwist-nosig+vmem+vcard.exe by naming it BejeweledTwist.exe

is there a comparable fix for 3D acceleration for Insaniquarium Deluxe, another old Popcap game? there seem to only be patches for the Bejeweleds in that pack, and I haven't seen mention of any such patches on the Insaniquarium Steam forums.

This game was made before Windows 8 came out, so this Steam build's not optimised for any Windows version from 8 upwards. Therefore, you don't need fancy tech to play this game :)

I had the same problem as you on both my Windows 10 and 11 gaming PCs. I followed this video on both counts, making things all hunky-dory again:

I was having the same issue, but this fixed it!

Well, this no longer works. The exe file is for another platform (not windows) and the reg file is no reg file that you could run.
