3D acceleration fix NO PATCH REQUIRED (only tested on windows)
Steps:
1) While in the game press keys ctrl+alt+D at the same time. If you hear a Windows ding/error sound, it means that debug mode has been enabled.

2) Press shift+F8, and it should pop up a textbox telling you that 3D mode is on. (If this key combo does not work, try pressing the Fn key, and while holding the Fn key down press shift+F8). There may be a brief delay and some window size jank while it enables 3d acceleration

3, optional) Press F8 (or Fn+F8 if that does not work), and it should pop up telling you that 3D acceleration is on (and not supported by this computer).

4, optional) When you close the game, a window may pop up asking if you want to keep 3D acceleration on by default. Say yes if you want it on I guess

This SHOULD work with most other Popcap games! Comment if you have any issues, I'll try to help you out)

Okay, have you tried doing step 3? What does the dialog box tell you? Also, does a dialog box pop up after step 2?

What we have to do to get a game that once worked working again.. seriously pathetic.

This does something.. however I still cannot change resolutions.

yet another game yanked from me.

I've got a GTX 980ti.
When pressing f8 it says:
"3D-Mode is on (3d is unsupported on this system)
Direct3d version: 9
..."

Should be working then. The bit that matters is "3D-Mode is on", whether the game thinks its supported or not doesn't matter as it gets overridden.

If you check settings, is the 3d accel box ticked? If so then it's working.

I got it to 'work' so to speak.. however the resolution is terrible.. and I cannot switch it .
