The facts about Survarium cheats as of 0.28c

I've done some research on this, snooping around on different forums and such, just to be aware of the situation and to be able to bring it to the public eye.

The bad news is that ESP hackers are online.

The good news is that there are no cheats except ESP for this game - and even those ESP cheats are private, so they're not distributed publicly and they're not free. It's a closed club and you need a personal invite to even get in and buy it. They seem to be based somewhere in Ukraine, so most of the cheaters are probably on the CIS server.

I suggest the devs sneak into this club in order to keep track and hopefully take them down from the inside. It's not hard to find, so I'm not going to post links.

In other words, if you think this game is full of cheaters then L2P.

This is actually the least-hacked FPS I have played in a very long time and that's the main reason I still play this laggy, buggy, crashy and unbalanced game XD

That would be a waste of resources and would just add more lag to the game.

Yeah that's all there is now, from what I can see. There was apparently an aimbot out there somewhere previously at some point, but it seems that it got shut down quickly.

This, you raise a valid concern but your approach is suboptimal at best. Fake bots is a way better solution.

You can't beat a virus if you're only fighting the symptoms instead of rooting out the source.

Same thing with hacks.

You can't blacklist hacks because it's not economical. They're far to easy to modify.

Then they should keep recalibrating their anticheat all the time to p!ss off the hackers and make them give up on the game.

You know real hacks is a business right? Those guys make a living beating stuff like that. I doubt they can annoy them enough.

I know that the leading international hack makers didn't want to bother with this game - meaning they ran into obstacles which they didn't have the time for, given the small playerbase of this game.
