Does Tier level matter in matchmaking?

So ye how does it works with tier, do we get matched with random tier or is there like some kind of system. Like T1 can fight with max T3 or something.

Equipment is pretty much balanced across all tiers. Weapons deal higher or lower damage depending on their rate of fire, equipment protects more if its mobility is lower. T1 doesn't protect a lot, but newbies are matched with their character level until they reach level 10 and by then they should have unlocked at least 1 T2 faction.

You get matched by your ELO level. ELO is a hidden score system in this game that calculates your skill. You can check your current ELO on survarium.pro

3 ELO tiers exist when matchmaking. They are as follows:

<1150
1150-1600
>1600

People above 1600 ELO can only be matched against other 1600+ players. Players with lower ELO can only meet high skill players if they are in a squad with a player who has 1600+
