allez les gars une info
1. Ability to save multiple ship layouts with the same ship type.
2. Different game difficulties. As the difficulties move up, we should witness longer missions, more mobs, and less starting cash. Really push us to be the very best in the universe lol
3. Leaderboards per mission. Top 100 lists for each mission. Maybe even top 100 lists for each mission with all cargo, with 1 cargo lost, with 2 cargo lost up to 5?
4. In-game purchase of ship formats earlier than earning them via missions. Same with weapon pieces, shield pieces, etc.
5. The ability to use all the slots of a ship format.
6. An additional game mode "wave defense" where the mobs don't stop coming ever and you play till you die, incorporating many of the updates listed above.
7. A huge variety of "maps" for wave defense mode.
They are a very small company (only 12 people), they've been making Masters of Anima and Curse of the Dead Gods instead since then.
2012: company created
2014: Space Run
2016: Space Run Galaxy
2018: Masters of Anima
2020: Curse of the Dead Gods
2022: ???
Assuming the pandemic hasn't delayed anything I wouldn't expect another game from them until 2022 at the soonest and with no news of what it might be. And just FYI the company started as a 1 man studio, 8 years later it's up to 12.
Space run, especially galaxy, is a great game.... but steam peak was 712 players playing, EVER... I'd be surprised if the game sold like 10k copies total during its entire existence. They might have gotten their money back, but no way that was profitable. Again, very weird, one of my favorite casual games of all time.
I doubt its that low, about everyone on my friend list have it. What seem to have happened is that its been sold in waves each time it had slightly higher discount and thus unlike aaa games don't get a huge boom at launch due to marketing etc. PC indie games are often like that making the sales appear really low due to extended sales while in reality way better total sales than peek players would suggest.
Would love to see a sequel of this excellent game!
For comparision the new Dyson Sphere Program Game has sold as much or more then Space Run in less then a Week...and it's in EA...
