got window now by alt + enter.
The way I quit the game while full-screen was Alt + F4.... but is there any way to quit within an in-game-menu ? Since pressing Esc does not give me that option during play.
Oh.
Sadly that's not very obvious if you need to reach a save point or it auto-saves progress and is a bit weird as one expects to quit at any time when in a hurry.
Had to quit a couple of times before reaching save point cuz kept getting interrupted a home lol.
Other than that am liking the game very much so far.
Try it out and you'll see. ;)

The background for this is that Last Word was originally made for a contest (IGMC 2014) and got second place in the RPG category. The commercial version is superior in every way, but this contest version makes for a great Proof of Concept. Go ahead and give it a shot. If you want, play it and beat. And if you're interested in seeing what sort of nice twists and refined polish happened to it since the contest, grab the commercial version here on Steam (when there's a sale or whatever). :)
The idea behind the save/quit thing is in this contest version so, if nothing else, you can get confirmation out your primary concern. :) Have fun!
