How do you dump all your laser energy into shields?

The controls say to press the quotes button... so " this I'm guessing. Which would be shift + '

Except when I press this, the laser energy isn't dumped into the shields. I feel like I'm pressing the right buttons too because it's the same buttons in X-wing Alliance and it works fine there. But for some reason I can't seem to get it to work when playing Tie Fighter.

Any help would be most appreciated from some fellow pilots.

These games have some problems with different keyboard layouts... but something that seems to always work is Shift-F10 to transfer weapons energy to shields.

I dunno about dumping all weapons energy into the shields at once, though...

Yeah I know how to transfer weapons energy to shields and that could suffice if I just rapidly press it, but I was hoping to transfer all the weapons energy to shields with a single button.

Apparently it's possible by pressing the quotes button, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Technically, it's more shift + ' to get quotes on my keyboard. But maybe you're right, that its the kind of keyboard that Im using. It's just weird because it works in X-wing Alliance but maybe being a newer game means that it's more compatible with a wider range of keyboards.

I'm not quite sure, but I seem to remember you might be able rebind this key by clicking on the entry.
