Random Crashes Windows 7

Hi there,

Having problems with random crashes in the missions. Not related to opening menus like other people are having - but just randomly after a couple of minutes it sometimes crashes.

Also running on Windows 7.

Can anyone help?? Offer advice..

Sorry to hear that.... I suggest you try Steam Support (click "Help" in the top lefthand area of this Steam page, and then when the menu opens, click on "Steam Support").

Curious, roaming around outpost, briefings, trainer, or when in actual combat?

I've had this issue when I'm in a briefing or at anypoint when I have a mouse pointer available that if the pointer goes to the bottom of the screen the pointer disappears and I can no longer click on a field. I have to hit the [ESC] key and then click on the game button and then program continues normally.

I've had a similar problem on both the GOG and Steam versions. The last time it happend, it was when I got in range of a ship to scan it and complete the primary objectives. Instead of hearing the dialogue, it crashes instead.

This is with Windwos 10.

I followed the instructions in the above thread and it seems to have fixed it for me
