Change of Difficulty.
One of the problems I have with Codename Cure is the fact that the game is way too difficult, even at average. I have a cool little idea which i'm sure wouldn't be THAT hard to implement. Its basically making difficulty settings feel like what they're supposed to be. While I'm not saying my idea is perfect, it has its problems but I figured why not?

Casual- Enemies spawn fewer in Numbers and cannot slow you down by hitting you, waves are rare.

Average- Enemies spawn larger in Numbers (compared to Casual), and waves are a little bit more common.

Hard- Enemies of course spawn larger in numbers (compared to average) and waves are very common, enemies can now slow you down.

Insane-Again Enemies spawn larger and waves are common. Super Zombies are commonly found and enemies deal more damage (compared to Casual,Average and Hard).

The game is pretty easy provided your team works together. I've completed every mission on insane. It's all just teamwork.

My idea was to make the game more easier to get into.

By removing teamwork requirements? I'd rather have quality of players over quantity of players, and the playerbase for this game will always be rather small.

If anything, Ive made insane alot more difficult then it actually is. Also, care to elaborate how im removing teamwork requirements?

The game is not difficult at any difficulty level, so to just make it easier so someone can solo run it would basically be negating any teamwork requirement for the missions. And all of the things you listed for insane...are already in insane, and I'd know, because I actually completed those missions. The zombies run almost constantly, theres a large amount of soldier zombies, and they all hit pretty hard. In fact, I'm inclined to believe that on insane soldier zombies can instantly hit for 20% of your health.

Those are only on the casual and average difficulties. Even then you can still be mauled to death if you aren't careful and you still need decent aim to kill the zombies. Im not fundamentally changing anything.

Well...be careful then, and learn to aim. That's a problem with the player, not the game.

The difficulty is dynamic, and adjusts things like wave interval, number of zombies, friendly fire damage, max ammo, and damage taken by zombies. I agree with @Kumelowski, anything that would make the game easier at this point would also diminish the teamwork element.

I just felt that the difficulty felt a little out of place for me and I just came up with this idea. To each their own I guess :P

It’s good to voice ideas… however most of these are already implemented, just maybe not as extreme as you are suggesting.

BTW, difficulty is also effected by the number of players, and things like their total combined health. If what you are saying is you want to solo the game, the number of zombies will reduce accordingly.

I know many may not agree with me,but I prefer teamwork as an option. I believe forcing players to work together just restricts on the players flexibility and skill. In my opinion Teamwork should just be highly recommended not something you should necessarily need. That's just me though and I wish you guys the best of luck!
I play the game mostly on solo without bots most of the time

The main focus of the game was and is teamwork, and the systems are based around that. Singleplayer with bots have been implemented for people who go solo and the difficulty automatically adjusts accordingly. I personally think the game's still too easy even on insane with just bots, but you get the hang of it after a while I suppose.

Wel when the bots have pin point accuracy, of course it'll be easy. I suggest making the bots more dumb, it would make things more tough.
