Is it me or does the physics and damage model appear to be just as good as RBR? The more I play, the more similarities I see. I use the Rallysim 2016 mod with the Next Generation Physics (NGP) car pack for RBR. This also feels so much better than Dirt Rally in some ways. Dirt Rally is my favorite, as it is a great OVERALL package, but this feels really solid. Its hard to pinpoint. The stages feel better, not so wide all the time. And tweaking the individual components of the cars feels more distinctive. This really is an underated title.

It's a shame the developer support is already dead, and this forum is kind of dead too. I'm waiting for a sale to buy SLRE since DiRT Rally is already getting tiresome with the same stages over and over again, a second option would be good.

Although the game is good and I agree with most of your comments, many choose not to buy it (mainly DR community) because of Milestones lack of post-release support. This was the first and last game I bought from them as there are just too many bugs and issues that will never be fixed. From what I heard, many are carried over from the previous titles so I won't expect anything from them. Shame really, as the potential was there. Actually felt like a full game as opposed to dirt rally which just feels thrown together in terms of its weak career and lack of multiplayer rally etc.

I was skeptical of Milestone. I didn't like the quality of some of their earlier titles. They had too many bugs, but I feel they have redeemed themselves with their latest stuff. This one surprised me. The demo was terrible and I took a chance. I'm glad I did because the more I play it the more details come out and its much better than I anticipated. I've had zero issues that stand out in my memory. Perhaps, they've hashed out whatever big problems were present before I bought it. I highly recommend it to any rally fans. I can't say enough about the physics.

The driving is indeed very good. I'm riding in San Remo with the Polo... it's intense to say the least! Never played RBR.

Trust me there are lots of bugs. Not game braking but annoying. Worse is the windshield bug at night, some cars are undrivable from inside cameras.

Ok you got me. Unless there is a fix or button I don't know about, the lack of manual windshield wiper control is horrible. I drive much better times from inside the car than in 3rd person view and sometimes the windshield gets so dirty, and the wipers don't come on automatically, that I'm almost forced to switch to 3rd person view just to finish the stage.

Its a nice game with some pros and cons . The major problem is that it has NO SUPPORT at all. I know that . All the MIlestone games have that. Its what you see what you get nothing more.
