April 2017 G29 Wheel still not working!

I don't understand why this game states it works with the Logitech G29 Wheel. The wheel does NOT work in the game you pay for but it works just fine in the demo.

The information on wheel support is WRONG. It seems odd that you have a demo that works but the product being sold does not... ???

It works, but I cannot rebind any keys.

FYI all, I did get my G29 working BUT I had to unpack and modify the game to make it work correctly. That is part of what gets me so mad, the game dev's should have made teh fix instead of me having to modify a game. This game states it supports a wheel that it really DOES NOT SUPPORTT. You can make it work but you have no options to change a single setting.

You have to modify game files JUST TO CHANGE A CONTROL.

One last thing that really points to a dev issue..... If I install the demo of this game, It will pickup my G29 wheel with NO ISSUES and I can set my controls per normal in the in game config section. BUT once I install the full game it is broken and does not work any longer.

I have tested this multiple times and ways. If I install demo (it works), install full game (whell does not work right), try to reinstall demo, Nope still not work.

So I then tried taking the data.mix file from the demo and put it in the full game folder. Well that also did NOT fix the issue.

So the problem is NOT in the data.mix file. The issue is something else with the full game install. Most likely the full game overwrites a DLL or some other system file. Once it is overwritten it is gone for good. If you know what files the game messed up you can replace them but it is almost just as easy to reinstall Windows.

The only way I can get the wheel to wrok correct is in the DEMO and on a system that the full game was never installed on. ONCE YOU IONSTALL THE FULL VERSION, the computer will no longer work with the G29 and this game.

They told me unintsall logitech software and plugh as PS3 mode would work.
But without Clucth and Shifter ....

My G25 worked great, now my G29 works but I can't program anything and it will drive but feels screwed up. It feels like the brakes are on. I can calibrate but trying to program any buttons or axis, it does not detect them.

I'm having this exact issue. Whenever I lift off the throttle, the car automatically locks the brakes, even when I'm not physically touching my pedal. G920 wheel

Somehow my G29 is working okay. I updated drivers and that worked.

That is really unacceptable as the game claims to support the Logitech G29 and it indeed does not. The T150 was borrowed and is the NOT the solution to this issue! further help and assistance is still needed fr this issue f the currently selling game issue with Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO that is still selling for $39.99! N updates fr the game is NOT a solution!

I guess it just can't be mapped then. Sadly there isn't any update incoming for that game. Please keep playing with the F150 wheel

Moreover none of the keys are binding with the Logitech G29. I have borrowed a Thrustmaster T150 and it works fine.

Yes that is correct; Once you click enter to rebind the keys the game will no longer recognize any button on the wheel. This is only happening with Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO and I have every racing sim there is and no other race sim has this issue. I have tested on two new Logitech G29 set ups and on two different computers with the same results.
