Many of the achivements are not really an indicator of how good the player is, more that they have played for a certain amount of time, used a powerup in a specific way (I'd be surprised if any good player didn't have all of these, but it is possible) or gone out of their way to perform a particular action which is secondary to the main objectives.
But if the user in question does not have the achivement for getting 100 medals then I'd definitely have to suspect "something fishy" is going on with a total score of >35M.
On the other hand, if they are able to perform a perfect run and met the requirements for all the medals on insane on all the levels, then they'd totally qualify for the high score. I don't think I've ever got more than 3 out of 5 in one single run on insane difficulty. (I find I often have to choose between obtaining 100% kills or undamaged medals).
I do have tips for the tournament level, but that was the first one I did and I don't know if it's the same every time. If it is the same I think I might write a guide for maintaining the chain for as long as possible. The second high scorer in my tournament friends list actually made it a few inches further than me, but as I mentioned, was about 60k lighter.
I've made perfect run for every level except 8.
#89 rank and score only above 32M..
