High Scores - cheat?
Hi,

I play a lot in Sky Force in last days. I also try my best to beat some high scores, but one day my motivation gone when I saw guy who dont even beat whole game (he doesn't have all achievement) and his high scores is above 35 milions. Also his scores in tournament is suprisingly high. Cheater or what?

The one with 1.5M score ? I wonder how he did it. Maybe cumulative combo gives huge amount of score ?
Well, I think it depends on what achivements they have or are missing as to if it could be confirmed if there's a cheater.

Many of the achivements are not really an indicator of how good the player is, more that they have played for a certain amount of time, used a powerup in a specific way (I'd be surprised if any good player didn't have all of these, but it is possible) or gone out of their way to perform a particular action which is secondary to the main objectives.

But if the user in question does not have the achivement for getting 100 medals then I'd definitely have to suspect "something fishy" is going on with a total score of >35M.

On the other hand, if they are able to perform a perfect run and met the requirements for all the medals on insane on all the levels, then they'd totally qualify for the high score. I don't think I've ever got more than 3 out of 5 in one single run on insane difficulty. (I find I often have to choose between obtaining 100% kills or undamaged medals).

I read somewhere on this forum that score above 32 mil is max for perfect run on every level (even developer confirmed this). So, 35mil is definitely cheating.
Well, I'm pretty new to Steam, but I imagine that there are ways of reporting such behaviour to either Valve or the game publisher/developer. I guess you know the offenders username, you should probably report them if you have not done so already.

Unfortunately Steam allows for cheating in single player. You can only report cheating in multiplayer games. Games with some ranking system or leaderboards are often hacked. Devs can't do much with that. Sky Force devs solve that problem in way that you see only high scores of your friends on Steam, not global.
Oh, well. Well I guess the only option left is to name (and shame:) the user in question and just accept that #1 rank is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Personally I don't really care about the overall high score. But I am happy if I can be in the top 20, as I was. (I kicked your arse in the last tournament, and all my newly aquired friends by around 60k if I recall correctly:)

I do have tips for the tournament level, but that was the first one I did and I don't know if it's the same every time. If it is the same I think I might write a guide for maintaining the chain for as long as possible. The second high scorer in my tournament friends list actually made it a few inches further than me, but as I mentioned, was about 60k lighter.

I have not played in tournament for serious :D In next weekend I do my best, then we can compare our scores.
I see 35 mln and only 29 human rescue by a friend of mine. How is it possible? If you make perfection on every stage for obtain 35 mln you must save more and more humans, you must save every human! It'isnt a cheat? :steamfacepalm::orangeoctopus:

i think that guy is cheater.:steamfacepalm:
Is it against Steam rules for someone to name the offending user in this thread? If not then please do so. ( It's pretty much your only available course of action, so you might as well :)

I'm also wondering at this topic.
I've made perfect run for every level except 8.
#89 rank and score only above 32M..
