combination lock

just a hint on how to approach this puzzle. I have tried all sorts of combos as well as random words - and the marker pen disappeared before I could find out what I need to do with it in respect of the word search paper as well.
Am I looking for a proper word or just a sequence of letters? Would be good to know...

If you guys could make the hi-lighter show on the screen it would be helpful. My wife and I were sure the character had dropped it. We even restarted the game before we realized it was just invisible. Even a "hi-liter equipped" text would help out.

I presumed (mistakenly) that the marker represented words already marked, and tried to work from there. Thus, here I am.....

I spent an hour trying every combination possible using only the already-highlighted words.. that didn't work so I had to try something else, and then discovered what should have been obvious to me from the start...

I love oldschool FMVs and the acting, music and camerawork is well done, but ohh those locks with blocks.... I am stuck after 15 minutes in the game trying to open a toilet, It's to bad you can't skip it or something cos I can't get it to open. After 20 minutes of trying I am done with it and I can't find a guide that tells me how to open that lock.

Maybe you're thinking too much. The solution might be simpler than you think.

No those those type of (moving blocks) puzzles I just suck at and I wish there was a way to skip/progress the puzzle after 15 minutes of trying. See my review!

I finally got it after this hint: read the unhighlighted letters. You really gotta think outta the box for this one.
