Worth playing if there are no more episodes?
I have this in my library, and it looks good - but I don't know if it's worth playing given the company seems to be dead, and there will be no more episodes. Is it a satisfying story on it's own, or just a frustrating cliffhanger?

The game is fairly short but is entertaining. If you already have it you might as well play it. Shame about the game.

I have a couple of other episodic games that were canceled after the first. Makes me not want to invest in those types of games.

There are literally 3 different reviews on the store page right now telling the game has a quite self-contained ending so it's worth playing even if there will be not any more episodes. Weren't they enough to answer your question?

Also, *its own.

In no way is this episode self contained. It ends on a cliff hanger that will never be resolved. It is not worth playing. It probably wouldn't have been worth playing even if they finished it. Episode 1 really isn't very good.

It's unfortunate that the game ended with Episode 1. It's by no means "bad". I would have been very interested in seeing how the future episodes played out, but the story is left unresolved since it now seems like there won't be any more episodes. The guy that was held hostage apparently escapes the building, but we'll never find out why "he" was taken hostage, "who" took him hostage, and if that person is ever caught.

It's like one of those point-and-click flash games from back in the day but with actual film.

Minimal content but you're only doing it to waste a few minutes anyway and it succeeds in that. Don't expect a life-changing experience or mindblowing gameplay. Had it been a full game, it would've still been your average 'escape the room' point-and-click, but maybe the cutscenes would've helped it along.
