Game wont start.

I just get the wallpaper and the panel on the right with 5 buttons. Nothing in the center (where the start button usually appears.) Of the 5 right buttons, 3 work. Full screen/windowed, options, and quit. The other 2 buttons don't seem to do anything.

I played some this morning, so this problem just started today.

today is the first I have experienced the problem reported in this chain, yet i have been on Settlers Steam daily for several years. I can see no updates logged but even though i have uninstalled and reloaded to no change in operation, i now await input from Steam or BlueByte to advise or resolve.

They're not even responding to tickets or emails at this point. I'm gonna see if I can track a BB down on the Browser version to find out what's up.

I HAVE SPOKEN TO A MOD! And It's not good news.

So, the Mini Browser went down this morning as well, which, BB made the Mods aware of. They also told them that Steam users also can't access, and told them that just started today as well, which we know is a lie. BB is working to fix the mini browser first, as they have more control over it, and then will be looking into Steam.

AKA... we're going to be waiting a long time.

The last time this happened, that is what I did and was lucky enough to catch BB_Malkuun and ModV in global. I declared Martian Law for having 2 accounts and deleted the other after the problem was resolved. At least I was able to bring back news to here

This communication strategy is a shame! I've decided to use the steam client to play settlers coz I thought the steam client will be more stable and much more supported. As well the browser clients will not support flash anymore in the future. But honestly, when I look at this issue I am not sure whether I tooked the right client or not....

When there is a way to transfer my account from steam to BB then please let me know. I am willing to pay for the account transfer to get finally rid of this issues.

Sorry but I am really pissed off.. for me it is not an option to leave the people alone without any information about what's going. An official statement is truely something which we can all expect.

You use flash to play on Steam as well. Doesn't change much.

If / When the ability to move from Steam to Browser becomes available / working / isn't buggy, I will 100% be posting a guide as to how I went about doing it. I know the "name" they call it and all of that, and it is a request by account type of thing, as they need to communicate with you to have an email address to send your account to, which is why they can't just mass move, but since the process is broken, I don't want anyone accepting the offer when they KNOW it's broken.
