Regarding flash, that terrible software, it's included in the package manager and I always get the latest version by the automatic update.
One problem may be that settlers did require a 32 bit version of chrome when I started, I may have done something to include another version that I now have forgot about, but things like input device grabbing must be a basic action and not depending on some version, it works in all other cases.
Thanks!
"SteamOS is a Debian-based Linux operating system by Valve Corporation and is the primary operating system for Valve's Steam Machine video game console."
I don't know how to attach it in this reply, I put the snapshot here: https://pi.virtualgate.org/bilder/steam.png
It has nothing to do with the family pin, if I turn that off, I just get stuck on the authorize page, it's the call of that page that dosn't release the keyboard, all input goes to the game behind.
Steam and its own specific programs/tools do support Linux, but that doesn't apply to the games Steam/Vale sell on their platform. Each game supports its own number of operating systems; in this case, "The Settlers Online" only supports Windows and Mac OSX. You can see this at the bottom of the store page for "The Settlers Online" at system-requirements.
Hope that clears things up!
You should contact steam and tell them to remove your game from their library and explain that you can't get it to work.
If I should run the game in a browser I must create a new account and start over since my login is done via steam and seems to be stuck that way.
They don''t even understand the question.
The support really sucks and if they don't like our money they don't get them.
I guess you also get a popup up window with a browser that don't get anything from keyboard and mouse.
It was working before so it's a regression by some other fix.
All we can hope is that someone fix another bug so it just happen to work again by an accident.
