Pensar que pre-compre la version Deluxe porque creí que podia superar a la primera entrega y parecerse al gran MOD "Darkest Hour"... Que equivocado estuve.
Un juego con un enorme potencial, totalmente desperdiciado porque los desarrolladores no se interesaron en lo mas minimo.
El juego esta totalmente muerto y todo indica que esto no va a cambiar.

Mi antigua reseña:

Uno de los mejores shooter de la WW2 que he tenido la oportunidad de jugar. Solo puedo decier que era un juego sublime en la tematica de combate y equipamento de cada rol, de la clase que se escogiera. Las partidas en servidoeres llenos era un verdadero campo de guerra ya sea si te tocaba defender o atacar.

Un juego de 10/10

Una maravilla de videojuego, enfoca bastante bien los aspectos tacticos y la cooperacion necesaria para poder ganar en cada partida.
Tiene una gran variedad de armas y una ambientacion excelente en sus mapas, una mejora completa a su entrega anterior "Red Orchestra ostfront 41-45

Resumen: Este juego es una joya perdida.
*Nota importante: Si al igual que yo eres de un país tercermundista, vas a terminar sufriendo por la latencia y falta de servidores activos, sí esto no es impedimento para ti, entonces acá abajo te explico porque deberías comprar este juego y de paso te dejo unos consejitos para que no la pases tan mal si decides comprarlo.

¿Buscas un juego que suponga un desafío para ti? Entonces este juego es el indicado.
A diferencia de un call of duty, si no sabes cubrirte, vas a morir. Si no sabes moverte, vas a morir. Si no sabes disparar, vas a morir. Si no aprendes las mecánicas del juego, vas a morir. Para ser bueno en este juego necesitas practicar bastante y así como no logres adaptarte vas a seguir muriendo. No te regeneras mágicamente tras ser herido, no tienes munición de sobra para aventar a los enemigos ni puedes correr por el campo de batalla como si estuvieras por un parque.
El juego contiene un nivel de realismo que le separa de otros shooters, obligándote a seguir una estrategia según la partida. Debido a la cantidad de jugadores por juego y a los distintos mapas que hay, casi siempre será una partida diferente, lo que hará más entretenido cada combate.
El juego te ofrece un sistema de niveles que conforme subas te ofrecerá pequeñas ventajas, por ejemplo, si subes de nivel tus armas, tendrás la oportunidad de añadirle un par de accesorios y tendrás una mejora en el manejo de tus armas. Si subes de nivel tu clase, tendrás ciertas mejoras en la condición física de tu personaje usando esa clase, un ejemplo de esto podría ser que puedes durar un poco más de tiempo corriendo y que tu stamina se regenerará un poco más rápido. Tienes también tu nivel de honor, pero este es más que nada para medir tu experiencia, si bien necesitas cierto nivel de honor para subir los niveles de tu clase, realmente solo para esas dos cosas es para lo que sirve el nivel de honor.
Las ventajas que te ofrece el subir niveles pueden marcar la diferencia en tu desempeño por partida ya que representan una mejora, pero no tanto como para que tengas ventaja sobre otros jugadores. Algo positivo de los niveles es que la única manera que tienes de aumentarlos es jugando, no puedes pagar por subir de nivel, no hay potenciadores ni nada que te ofrezca ventaja sobre otros jugadores en ese sentido.
En cuanto a variedad de armas, creo que no se puede pedir más, tanto en Red Orchestra 2, como en Rising Storm 1 o Heroes of the West el arsenal esta muy completo, si bien me hubiese gustado ver la Luger P08 o el FG42, no tengo problemas con las armas que ofrece el juego.
En cuanto a las clases, hay una buena variedad de ellas, cada una con una función e importancia diferente, llegando a ser crucial para cada partida el buen uso de estas.
Como consejo si eres un jugador nuevo, te pido encarecidamente que juegues como "Rifleman" hasta que comprendas bien como usar cada clase y la importancia de estas. Una partida depende de un buen desempeño por parte de sus jugadores, desde un buen comandante (TL) que sepa cuando y donde pedir la artillería y forzar la reaparición de tropas hasta un buen líder de escuadrón (SL) que sepa como cubrir a sus compañeros con humo y que sepa donde colocarse para servir como punto de reaparición para su escuadrón.
En mis casi 370 horas jugadas, puedo decirte que el juego tiene mucho que ofrecerte, realismo, variedad de armas, buenos mapas, bastante acción y mucho estrés. Pero hay pequeños detalles que hay que remarcar, uno está al principio de la reseña, y es el tema de la conexión y el número de jugadores activos, en mi lista de servidores favoritos guardé los únicos servidores en los que aún entra gente, no pasan de 7 u 8 servidores, y en cuanto a latencia, al menos en la mitad de ellos juego a más de 190 de ping.
Otro detalle a tomar en cuenta es el desbalance que existe en las partidas, está muy dividido el nivel de los jugadores, puedes entrar en una partida dónde en un equipo más de la mitad son niveles altos (lvl80 en adelante) y en el otro equipo 3/4 partes son niveles bajos (40 para abajo). No hay que ser un genio para saber como termina una partida con estás características si un equipo tiene muchos más jugadores con más experiencia que el otro.
Como conclusión puedo decirte que el juego es una joya casi olvidada, te lo recomiendo y es por mucho uno de mis shooters favoritos, pero debes de tomar en cuenta lo que mencioné anteriormente, son detalles muy remarcados que por más bueno que sea el juego, pueden hacer que te termine desagradando después de unas partidas.

You spend the majority of your time sitting in a disgusting ditch filled with the shattered corpses of your fallen comrades, as well as those still unfortunate to be "alive", if you can even use that term to describe what is left of those wretches. As you crawl through soggy trenches, you can hear the shouts of orders being given and soldiers being slain, either blown to torn meat by mortar explosions or cut in half from machine gun fire. You are not a man, you are a frightened rabbit that dashes from cover to cover, whispering wishes of survival for but a few more seconds while pieces of concrete are chipped away around you by enemy sharp shooters. In the worst of times, you are a worm that crawls in the mud, lest a rifleman spots your shape in the distance. There is no salvation from a tank. Death can come from nowhere at all.

Stay away fom windows.

Also, you can't drop more than five feet without breaking a leg. It's fine though, since your small pack of two bandages offers you a second chance at life. Try not too die to quickly, and remember to check your magazine. You can also modify your sights and give out commands. There are a variety of classes to choose from. Choose wisely, and don't be afraid to loot corpses; they don't need anything anymore anyway.

Stay away from windows.

There is also a morale system, where you slowly lose your mind if you are under a barrage of enemy rounds, or if you see an ally get half of their face blown off and fall to the ground screaming in agony for a good minute or so before bleeding out. The result is blurred and discolored sight. I think I got this when I saw a guy get his legs shot off and watched him crawl about an inch away from cover before getting taken out by a sniper.

Stay away from windows.

In all seriousness, this game has a great deal of work put into detail and animations, but there remain some optimization issues. They're not bad, and a someone with an excellent PC might never even notice them.

Rising Storm and Red Orchestra 2 have different dynamics, although the mechanics are exactly the same, if that makes any sense.

If there is one thing I have to ABSOLUTELY give this game credit for, is that it has a personality. A very grim personality, but it's better than the typical "♥♥♥♥ yeah" jingoism many games go for.

There is nothing more satisfying than watching an enemy tank blow to bits.

The singleplayer is good practice, but the AI is really ditzy. The soldiers do not show a lot of initiative and tanks commanders seem to forget that tanks can't climb walls.

Also, about the window thing: I was waiting for my squad to move up and about seven of them decided march right in front of a window in a factory. A machine gunner across the chasm opened up on them and killed them all. It was really unpleasant to watch them panic and stumble and run into each other while being shot to pieces.

Love the game and have since the original RO. On the newest update there was an updated terms of service. This service says that in order to now even use the game, you have to accept the terms. This new term I have a problem with though, is that they now reserve the right to install essentially adware onto your computer to be able to in-game target you for ads. This changes the game from something I paid for, which now in the modern digital market means it was a "premium(therefore no ads)" game, and turned it into a "non-premium" game that now can feature ads and take my info. So if possible, I want my money back because RO2 is no longer the game I paid for, as I can't play it without accepting the new terms. and giving away my info.

Excelente Juego, estaria bueno que lo pongan en español

Un shooter entre shooters.
Es de estilo tactico y de simulación hasta cierto punto, es como si Battlefield y Arma 3 tuviesen un hijo. Seria éste.
Un Shooter multijugador de 64 jugadores, en este caso con la version remasterizada de la batalla de Stalingrado y el Pacifico.
Cuenta con campaña multijugador.
Estilo de juego realista, mueres de un disparo en una zona vital y quedas herido el resto de la partida si te dan en un brazo o una pierna.
-Cadena de mando y roles:
Los roles claro indispensables, pero también hay una cadena de mando, que va desde el soldado razo, el lider de escuadrón hasta el comandante. Todos roles importantes y que deben integrarse con sus respectivos niveles de responsabilidad a la hora de ganar una partida.
-Graficos que han envejecido bastante bien.
Comunidád agradable, de vez en cuando aparecen seres toxicos, pero en general es una comunidad interesante, aveces un poco excentrica, pero bueno creo que no hay comunidád online que no lo llegue a ser.
-Inmersion espectacular, tienes la opcion de escuchar las voces originales, el sonido esta muy bien trabajado y los mapas muy buenos.
Luego haré una revisión extendida de esta obra maestra del multijugador.
Lo vale a precio completo sobrado y en descuento pues que diablos estas esperando!! Es un juego en el que vas a morir mucho, y te va a hacer caer en cuenta que no eres mas que un miserable ser humano en una guerra muy grande.

A good WW2 FPS notable for it's high skill ceiling and one-hit deaths.

Stuff I like about this game:

-1-hit deaths. Seriously, (almost) every gun kills you in one-hit (besides the SMGs which might just wing you at longer ranges. This is a very realistic FPS.

-It doesn't hold back with how challenging it is. Working off of the 1-hit deaths, it made me legitimately SCARED when I first started out in the game. I would hide in artillery shell craters, prone to the ground, it was very immersive as a game that depicts the Eastern Front of WW2.

-Good class-based combat. You have: Riflemen who are guys who capture the objective. Squad Leaders who serve as a spawn point for everyone, throw smoke to conceal your team while they advance, and mark artillery bombardment locations. Machine gunners who lock down an area with 1-hit killing rapid-fire machine guns. Snipers who pick off priority targets from long range (machine gunners, squad leaders, other snipers, the Commander). Assaults who have close ranged weapons to clear buildings. And the Commander who play this game like an RTS, he orders recon planes, artillery, amoung other stuff.

-In conjunction with those classes and their roles, this game encourages team-play. No matter who you are, actually killing the enemy doesn't just get you a higher score. Killing the enemy IN the objective while STANDING in the objective though, DOES.

-Bullet trajectory. Bullets sink over longer distances and take time to reach the people you shoot at, there is no hitscan. Thank goodness, because this makes the game a bit more complex.

Downsides:

-Punishing for newer players. The other people playing probably know where to hide and you need to learn how to cope with the 1-hit kills. You get used to this over time, but just take my advice and play your first few hours as a simple Rifleman to just get the hang of everything.

-It's a bit janky. Sometimes I have to hit a key twice to do something, it lacks just a 'little' bit of polish. It doesn't break this game, it's just sometimes the controls fight with you a little bit.

tldr, This is a great realistic FPS that places a greater emphasis on playing the objective, being a sneaky sh*t who knows how to hide while shooting the enemy, and playing the specific role of your class. I reconmend it.
