I can't seem to find any servers?!

I'm having some problems trying to find any game servers?! I got into the browse server menu and there is just nothing there. My internet connection is fine and the game isn't being blocked in my firewall. Is anyone else having the same problem or know how I can get back into online games? I really miss playing RS and I have been having this issue for like 3 days now :(

Yup same issues here- You can turn down the rate at which you will ping servers- although it did not really work for me - it may work for you.

Steam/Settings/Downloads/Games Server Browser

Usually I have to just shut the game off, then restart it 5 mins or less later- then never hit the Refresh / Quick refresh button or you have to start all over again.

Also when you do find a server and try to connect- yet it just sits there, I alt-tab right click on network icon near clock, run troubleshooting...most of the time it tells me the DNS is not responding.

Then get back into RS- and it should be loading/in game.

It needs a virtual kick... and is tedious.

The best way I have found to connect to servers is when Tripwire posts an event- and clicking the address to the server- that works flawlessly.

You can also try connecting through the Steam server browser.

View > Servers

Just filter it to show Red Orchestra 2 and RS/RO2 servers will show up.

Same here, it says 123456123 players online, and gives me a blank server page.
I've played some games, very fun, but at some point whenever I tried to enter a server I only saw the map.

Steam servers went down for maintenance which is why many weren't able to access servers or their stats. Steam announced on twitter that there will be even more server maintenance in a bit.

it wont work for me either. it just comes up with a screen shot and wont let me get off it the only way i get off it is by going ctrl alt delete

This is usually a bug with UE3 games. A quick google search should give you a solution. primal Carnage used to do this to me all the time, cant remember the fix though.

Same here. Then, while no servers in the list, I opened steam server browser, joined to a server, and voila, it works the same as the built-in server browser.

I know this is an old post but I found a solution to the problem and am posting for anyone else who might come here looking for answers. First I verified my game cache and 3 files were missing. I went back into the game and for some reason or another my filter settings were set back to default. I changed my filters back to my preferences and suddenly I could see servers again. I hope this helps someone.

My problem is that I just can't find the servers, because I don't have the engine to find the server. Can anyone tell me what engine is it?
