How does one use the Type 99 Arisaka Monopod?

So, for those of you that have the Monopod, how do you actually use it? it doesnt work like the other MGs or the BAR's, pressing 6 also does nothing. Is it just an automatic accuracy upgrade?

I think ugly stupid wire thing that lets you know you have a level 50 type99. Apart from that......... Just like the ugly and daft gangster grip on the BAR....... Wonder if the supply guy charges you for messing up Uncle Sams boom stick when you turn it back in............

I think it's just a model addon to signify that your Arisaka 99 is at full rank as the rifle has no real unlocks.

Well, the Arisaka 99 did had the Monopod (and anti-air sights) as part of the original release of the weapon for japanese troops, so its not there just "for teh lulz" like the drum magazine Thompson (i know they were used in the pacific, but weight and clunkyness made the Gangster tommy gun unrealiable, something which is not reflected in the game).

For the life of me, i still cant figure it out how to deploy the pod.

it automatically braces you on the ground, so it has a big use.
