Yes. I've not managed on an enemy plane, But I did manage to shoot down my own (deliberately) playing a workshop match of Brestkaya Krepost (solo, to have an explore). The issue is aiming off correctly with rifles, or setting up your machine guns with enough elevation to be able to hit them.

It only took a few shots using an SVT-40, I think it's as much about hitting it in the correct place.

I shoot down once a plane with just one rifle shoot. I aimed for engine. I didnt know that it is possible with one bullet, it always took 3 or 4.

Maybe it was damaged before.Also probably stationary mg gonna be handy in this task.

Theres always a smoke, then fire etc, But when i shoot it, engine exploded or something. Or maybe 3 other players shoot plane in same second as I and it looked like 1 shoot kill.

I've struggled to get the necessary elevation to shoot it, quite apart from the fact that sod's law would have the recon planes flying behind the stationary emplacements! :D
