If you just want to play as an individual to rack up a high score, then no.
It's not perfect, and it can be frustrating to learn how to play it well. I love it, but I completely acknowledge that it's not everyone's cup of tea...
Why? I play Battlefield 2 (favourite), Arma 3, and Battlefield 4... and have played most every single popular shooter ever made since Wolfenstein 3D, which I played on release.
Are you saying this shooter isn't worth playing? Or something different? For $6, I should just go for it - but the restraining factor these days is that with ~300 games on Steam, I don't like to add to my list of hard-to-sort-through games unless it's really a quality game that I'll want to have there for good.
If you buy red orchestra 2 you will get all the single player and multiplayer content. You can play rising storm but you have to be a rifleman and more importantly you can't level up your classes. (personally I hate leveling up in fps) If you buy rising storm you get all that content and you get red orchestra 2 multiplayer. They won't let you play the single player if you go this route. (The single player is the same as multiplayer expect for dumb bots instead of people).
You get all the multiplayer content for both and you can level up your weapons for both.

If you buy Rising Storm from the HumbleBundle, you get the campaign and multiplayer along with Red Orchestra 2's multiplayer?
RO2s MP.
You guys should read the store page tbh..
If you buy Red Orchestra 2. You get:
-RO2 MP
-RO2 SP
-RS Multiplayer LITE (meaning you can only play rifleman class and can't level up)
If you buy Rising Storm. You get:
-RS MP full
-RO2 MP full
-no SP for RS or RO2
RS = Rising Storm
RO2 = Red Orchestra 2
SP = Single Player
MP = Multiplayer.
Now, I personally LOVE this game. I played literally all FPS of worthy name from console to PC. I have the most fun with this one and BF. This game is somewhere in between Arma and BF in my opinion. Realism mode is brutal though, and that's all people play.
I have about 400+ hours in this game.
