I'd say your computer is sending invalid packets.

jk sorry, I don't know. I'd say try an online speed test for packet loss, reboot your connection hardware, etc.

I play on wireless and do get issues maintaing a stable connection, but up to now it either would

straight up drop from the server saying "connection lost"

or just rubber band a bit and display "speedhack detected" then fix itself

never seen this "invalid packet" message before

Beyond awful wireless. You're packet loss it so high it's just getting completely confused and kicking you as the data being sent/received doesn't make any sense. As a lot of it is missing.

Cables solve all problems.

As I said in another thread, that is simply totally false. Jesus guys. A cable may or may not solve all the problems, help a moderate amount, or do nothing. Packet loss is not a wireless connection problem. Its a connection problem. Its just often much worse on wireless and/or due to wireless interference.

OP, if you cant try wiring directly in, try the program in the guide on these forums for the speedhack issue, it totally solved the problems you are having for me.

edit: oh, lol, didnt read the name. Here you are again lemonater with this incorrect advice. Go read the wikipiedia page about networks and packets man. ♥♥♥♥♥ sake. Stop giving people false info

Many Wi-Fi users have reported that using a “WLAN Optimizer” tool has fixed their issue.
That tool can be found here:

And many wifi users who have tried that said it didn't do shit.

Might work, might not. Cables still solve all problems.

I was playing on the 2fjg RS server later that day with him I think. The whole packet error thing stopped after I ran the WLAN optimizer, but at this point I'm not sure if its the program actually fixing things or a simple conincidence - as my wifi has good and bad periods of performance.
