wasd keys exit to desktop
Not sure what i'm doing but sometimes during a game, my keyboard seems to start playing up. When i try to move i get kicked out to my desktop. The game is still running but i have to restart the pc to return keyboard to normal.

Perhaps i have been leaning on some keys & triggered something by accident.

Any help very much appreciated.

Yeah I had this problem a while back as well. For me it turned out it was my keyboard. For some reason when pressing SHIFT and ALT at the same time it would go to this weird windows explorer mode and would prevent me from using the wasd keys in game. As soon s I got a better keyboard the problem stopped apearing.

Yes mine is a cheap keybord. Replacement for a better one the kids spilt juice over!

Will try to be more careful with what am leaning on.

Thanks Wolf

What operating system are you using? With Win8, I occasionally have windows think I am pressing Windows+S or something, which are combos for windows functions. They kick me out to desktop, but I can alt-tab back in. I disabled the windows key when running apps (an option) and it mostly stopped.

Am on win8.1. Will give that a try.
Sorry for late response. Been working.

Thanks Jank

You might also want to look into "Filter and Sticky keys"(sounds dirty but it's not). You can reed more about it here: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-the-irritating-sticky-filter-keys-popup-dialogs/?PageSpeed=noscript or give it a quick Google.
Here is another page worth reading: http://www.howtogeek.com/194811/how-to-prevent-the-windows-key-alttab-and-sticky-keys-from-ruining-your-gaming/?PageSpeed=noscript it also covers the Windows key problem Jank-Gefr. mentioned.
