Here is the guide! It will tell you all you need to know about traps with lots of screenshots.
Booby traps are one of the best weapons the japanese posses but they are used less and with less efficiency lately. Please read this guide and lets bring back extreme traping! Lets annoy those `muriccans.

When I can I will place them right 'on' (underneath) a dead body. This conceals the booby trap fully.

That is a great idea too! Unfortunatly they will dissapear with time but nice Idea! Will try that out.

Yeah basically I mean if there is a dead body in the obvious enemy paths/choke points, may as well put it on the dead body if the corpse is in the same spot!

If you play CO and you're familiar with radio locations, that's always a good spot to place one too! Delaying an enemy recon and or artillery strike is nice.

One rule to remember: in fps games no one ever looks up or down. Ofc it is not 100% true but it is good to play on both sides and when you advance pay attention where you did not look and realize that.
Especially in Saipan there are many houses with doors, I´ve gotten many kills just placing a nade just outside the door. And sometimes behind corners is good too - when you go around corner you probably won´t look at ground first.

Yeah. Players who got killed by traps start looking to the ground though and become less effective. Nice little bonus with traps

Another tactic I use is to place them where you know they will take cover during an advance. So right beside a downed plane, dead tank (map tank), rock formation ect ect

Great guide!
Remember that the choice between nades and traps is not either or. Its and. Just place your traps before passing by an ammunition resupply.

Mines could be so powerful if people used them. Imagine if everyone placed 2, thats 64 mines! The 'muricans wont even be able to move! Its a shame nobody does :(

Unfortunatly not all classes get grenades so around 25 players could plant 50 mines but still pretty good.

there are normally enough classes if you filled all the rifleman slots, though then i think youre sacrificing a lot for that.
