A lot of people say that, but direct comparrison has proved that Arnold is unfortunately not playing RO2 with us:(

But do check out the videos if you are new to the game or indeed a long time player looking to improve.
One thing I noticed playing rifleman for a couple rounds is that for no reason your accuracy is complete ♥♥♥♥ under 20 feet. I'm picking off moving targets at 300 yards but for some reason ADSing and holding shift I can't hit a guy 10 feet away. It's bizarre. It's like the devs felt that people with frigging SMGs didn't have enough of an advantage with you know the dozens of bullets they have that you also need an arbitrary accuracy penalty within close range. Also, artillery on spawnpoints is the gayest thing since sliced bread in hotpants.

not true exactly, but the SMG does have the advantage of couse. You have to raise a heavy long rifle and the SMG can just spray you from the hip and follow into ADS.

Don't shift zoom at close ranges, use your ears, if you hear footsteps near you check your map (T mini map, or M for full) and check if there are friendlies nearby if not, prepare yourself. Don't be so quick to dismiss it, keep at it and you will soon get the drop on that SMG guy, and be making him go BS at you.

Arty does not fall on spawn, spawn exit sure, sometimes very close, but that is a good thing, this is a team game, and if you as team cannot work effectively together to stop it being an issue then that is not the opposing teams fault.

lol, no. I got the drop on them. Two shots at center mass with all the accuracy bonuses I could do and none of them even hit the guy. He just walked up and meleed me. dumb dumb dumb.

yup, through no fault of my own. Like I said, I'd been picking off moving targets 300 feet away no problem. Even had a 10 kill streak. But a guy 10 feet away cannot be hit.

If an SMG guy shot at you suppression would make your aim bad. There is no "bs" in this game, you just missed.

He can, you just have no margin for error, also ping difference could be a factor.

great video, exactly right, dont worry about dying, dont worry about score, just be effective at what your team needs, and you will overall do well.

now, i dont mean to be a pain, but as a mauser collector, i just have to correct the guy on one thing, and its a very small nit to pick, but alas i must pick it.

he said the K in K98 stands for kurtz, this is not correct.

K98 is an abbreviation, the actual name of the rifle is "Karabiner 98k".

the k AFTER 98 stands for Kurtz, which means short.

so the K in K98 actually stands for karabiner (carbine, IE short rifle) and the second k is usually left off, but K98k is often used as well as an abbreviation.
