Windows 10 Punkbuster kick Error?

The other day I updated to Windows 10...

Now I can't join ANY servers on RS/RO2 without getting punkbuster kicked for, "Service Communication Error."

I've tried to troubleshoot it to the best of my sub-amateur abilities, here's what I've done:

I verified that I had the latest updates for RS/RO2.
I tried toggling punkbuster enabling.
I tried letting the server enable punkbuster for me.
I tried joining a match with punkbuster disabled.
I tried joining several different servers.
I restarted the game.
I restarted steam.
I restarted my computer.
I restarted the game through Steam instead of my desktop.
I verified the integrity of my game cache.
I checked Steam support.
I visited Tripwire Interactive's website.
I installed the latest PB files from Even Balance. -(http://support.tripwireinteractive.com/KB/View/6-punk-buster-errors-and-kicks)
I visited Steam Support.

The only logical conclusion I can come to is that my recent instalation of Windows 10 is somehow interfering with Punkbuster or vice versa. Anyone else running in to this problem? Was this anticipated? Will there be a patch? Any information is appreciated.

Try manually updating PBuster - it should be inside same folder as your RO2/RS exe file

I don't know where to find the exe file in windows 10. I tried checking the properties button, going through the control panel, and looking for folders in the local disk.

Is there anyone from Steam who can comment on this?

UPDATE:

I muddled my way through manually updating punkbuster. Took me forever to realize the file folders are in Steam, not my desktop or disk drive. Problem solved.

run the file above and this fixes windows10 issue with punkbuster. No need to reinstall RO2.
