Punkbuster sucks

Anyone else struggling to play due to getting "punkbusted"? Yeah you sure showed me, since im known to be quite the little cheating punk, The last time i cheated in a game was goldeneye splitscreen, like 15 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years ago. so mind telling me what the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with your anti cheating system? It boots me from every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ server, and I really love this game, i mean holy ♥♥♥♥ is it ever good, but your punk buster is like aids. its making my ♥♥♥♥ soft and ruining my love for this immersive game. anyone got any suggestions or tips or similar struggles? I just want to play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and I think i'll be avoiding the sequel especially if its anti cheating is this non functional [kicking clean players and leaving PokemonMaster for example, who had drained our entire teams tickets in long distance knife kills, we had to vote kick him on account of how useless your anti cheat system is] i dont even like using text commands in skyrim, so fix your ♥♥♥♥ to stop targeting me and leaving the hackers in game if you expect me to dish out more money for a sequel

Psst... hey buddy... you can come play in a non-PB server. Look for the missing PB icon in the server browser settings display. Most of us realize that PB causes more problems than it solves.

Dunno if this helps, but as far as I remeber, I used to get some punkbuster issues, due to my internet connection being too slow, so if you are using wi-fi to play, try changing to lan-cabel connection.

no i refuse to upgrade after hearing everyone complain about all the problems it brings to games that previously had no problems

im wired, but yeah i noticed it happens more often on wifi. i still only last about 2-3 minutes after entering a match before im punkkicked, ive even been perma banned from servers after trying to rejoin several times. killing floor 2 and no more room in hell have anti cheating systems too dont they? ive never been kicked by them and one of those games is even also by tripwire

thanks, i was wondering why i had never been kicked from one certain server, ive favorited it but its usually empty

You could always try re-installing Punkbuster, just go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Red Orchestra 2\Binaries\Windows and run pbsvc_hos.exe

Normally when PB is behaving like an jelous girl all you need to do is update/reinstall it.

I canot play with Punkbuster without it crashing and making the game use over 90% CPU.
