"Mosin Nagant VS. Karabiner 98k" Myth

So I heard that some people say the Karabiner 98k is better then the Mosin Nagant. Is that true or is it just a propaganda from the Germanophiles of Red Orchestra 2? I am not sure but I do feel like the Karabiner 98k performs better when I use it but it might be psychological from being aware of this myth. Are they exactly the same or do they have their differences?

If I recall correctly there is an exploit that allows the reload time for he K98 to be cut almost in half.
Also there are very minor stats difference for damage, penetration, and bullet drop between the 7,92mm and the 7,62mm.

The only real difference is that the Kar has a pointy sight and the Mosin has a rectangular sight. The end.

I think in game the mosin has slightly higher muzzle velocity, otherwise same gun diffrent sights

I prefer Kar just for the sights, and for some reason I'm much better at scoped sniping with the Mosin. My results are pretty much the same for each rifle.

I know in real life the Kar is the superior of the bolt actions, but the SVT is the superior of the semi-autos mostly due to poor heat treating on the Germans part. Not sure about the game.

At least in game, I can hit targets out to 200 meters with the Mosin without adjusting the sights scoped or iron sights.

Don't let these Wehraboos convince you otherwise... The video shows over 50% of the German team irl. They're always the loudest ones on the mic while sitting back with an MG42, Acog STG44, or using a Russian gun when it suits them best, while masturbating over German technology that didn't even exist in the actual Battle of Stalingrad, all while blaming you for losing because you were smart enough not to charge directly into an MG with your bolt-action Kar-98 while they camp and collect your respawn points and claim they're good...

Mosin is heavier and carries more ammo, therefore you run slightly slower and tire out faster. On the other hand, it's got faster muzzle velocity (by 100-150 m/s if I'm not mistaken) and can be reloaded faster.
K98 has ever so slightly faster operating bolt, by like 0.2 sec maybe, but has more recoil because of it's low weight and lenght, making it harder to hit long range shots in combination with the muzzle velocity.
They're relatively identical and purely personal preference.

Plupp for example prefers to use the K98 because it allows him to run up to your face a little bit faster and hip fire you slightly quicker. (also heard that people feel the K98 hipfire is better) He can do literally the same with Mosin though.

In this game both are equal. In RL K-98 all day. Also in RL SVT-40 owns everything about the g41/43

Man if you look in irl the karr98k is in all ways better, aslo i prefer kar98 bcs its better then mosin (i shot irl in mosin and you dont want it really )
