Me and many others have suffered from this crashing. Its supposedly AMDs fault but who knows.
I have a RTX 4090. Maybe it has something to do with the new generation of graphic cards? 🤨
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work either. If I'm lucky I might be able to play for a while but as soon as I tab out of the game (which I eventually have to do), it crashes. Most of the time, however, it crashes already in the settings
How do you change your resolution:
- in the settings, after launching the game?
- in the ROEngine.ini file?
- or with launch options?
Maybe you could try to add the following line to the game's launch options in Steam (right click on game's name, select properties, and look at the general tab):
-resX=1920 -resY=1080
and then launch the game and see if your game crashes shortly after of not.
I usually change the resolution in the settings after I start the game. Changing the resolution in the launch options, as you mentioned, doesn't seem to make a difference, unfortunately. Thanks anyway
I've heard that a couple of times now. However, I have an RTX 4090
On another forum I was told that it is unlikely that the new hardware is the problem. However, I agree with you that it seems quite likely.
Lowering the graphics settings minimizes the problem, I think. But even then, the crashes are too frequent to really enjoy the game.
Hm, maybe you have a different cause for the problem or I am just unlucky lol
