Springfield is still my favorite bolt action overall though.
Up until 1941 the factories issued all Kars without frontal sight hoods.
98K is also a good shooter in game, and I also have a 1939 98K, and not as fun shooter as the M91/30, and far more maintence intensive. Yes early versions did not have hood, but the hood serves two purposes. Prevents front sight 'glare' and presents a better sight picture.
I prefer hooded sights as it gives the ability to center the sight picture like the modern peep and post.
I find it way better without it since the hood hinders my general fov when leading targets in foggy maps or at a distance.
That's also the reason why i prefer ♥♥♥ rifles in RS since they all miss the hood.
Also you need to change the level 50 weapons, those are cancer, everyone running around with a lvl 50 Thompson, etc.
Can you at least limit them to historical or decent levels?
