Download content, can't join any server?

Hi guys

Sorry for this stupid question but I haven't played RO for quite some time now. No matter which server I try to join it says that the Server Host does have content I don't have.
I have used the search function but didn't find any solution for this problem (maybe it's just my incompetence though).
Do I have to update the game somehow? Do I have to verify something?

Someone in a discussion here wrote a year ago: "Verify integrity of game cache."
Well I have no idea what this means or how I can do that if that really is the solution.

If anyone could help me to solve this problem I'd be very thankful.

Go to library->Right click on RO2/RS->click properties->Local files-> Verify

None of that will work.

Custom content goes into documents. Something steam doesn't touch. So verifying won't do anything as it isn't looking in the right place.

Instead you gotta go to Documents/my games/red orchestra 2. In that folder you will see a folder called ROGame. Delete the whole folder. Then launch the game. The game will recreate everything on start up.

To be more precise you can go to documents/my games/red orchestra 2/ROgame/published/cookedPC/packages. And delete anything in that folder. But you would have to know what you are looking for.

The first way pretty much cleans your red orchestra 2 with no damaging side effects.

And yeah before anyone asks it is possible to download vannila content from servers as custom content.

I'm having a similar problem. Half the time when I start up the game I'll be Punkbuster kicked from any server the second I join. It says something about a connection failure.
