https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDpiXSVo2cI watch this video, pretty helpful.
also in the steam workshop, there is a mode for tank combat. you can train yourself as a tank or anti-tank. pretty helpful and useful.

if you wanna destroy tanks, just you need practice, experience and good positioning. an experienced tank player always hides tank's weak parts. so for that reason, you have to kill crew members of a tank (there are 3 crew members) when all of them have died, basically, tank destroy itself (self-destruction) and you are gonna receive the tank kill.
thats all.
It takes time, a lot of practice and even a little bit of luck but its worth it.
With the Panzer, aim for the very lowest part of the hull (front on) where the armor slopes backward... as in if you aim any lower you'll shoot under the tank and miss altogether, it is where the ammo is stored.
With the T34 aim at the turret ring slightly to the right and you'll kill one by one the occupants... have yet to one shot the T34... also between the track and the hull at the height of the top of the track... but its a tiny target and hard af to one shot.
That said I have both AT rifles at lvl50 so that helps.
It's cool, and hey, desperation calls for desperate measures, there's always ninjaing your way over to throw an anti-tank grenade.
Tip about the at-nade, don't throw it "at" the tank unless you have to, throw it "on top" of the tank where the armour is weakest, this usually one-shots the tank.
On the Pzkw IV aim for the tow hooks on front lower hull, a one shot. The little black square to the right of main gun, the machine gun 'ball' left front upper hull, or the driver vision opening, and finally turret ring, fewer shots required, on side the side hatch on turret, center lower hull, rear lower hull. rear, just below muffler assembly.
T-34 is tougher. Driver vision blocks, turret ring, from front, side is as usual the center lower hull just above road wheels, and almost rear just above road wheels.
AT grenades are funny in game. The German is actually a magnetic HEAT mine, not a thrown grenade, IRL you had to actually run up and stick it on tank hull. Russian grenade had to be thrown high arc so it landed top down for best penitration, other than that just a blast grenade, rand the bell of the drew and broke stuff hopefully.
You just need to learn the weak spots..... 1400+ tank kills and 99% of them from an AT rifle.
I kill far more tanks, far quicker and with zero deaths with the ATR's than AT nades.
Cheers peace respect to all & be nice to your Mum!
