Special Edition widescreen
I have a 16x9 monitor. CD Collectors edition runs full screen, but Special Edition (best graphics version) runs 4x3 in the middle of the screen. Is there a way to get Spec Ed widescreen?

Use the XWA wrapper or dgVoodoo (Solution 2).

dgVoodoo should stretch the image by default, with the XWA wrapper you have to set PreserveAspectRatio to 0 in ddraw.cfg.

thanks will try that. seems pretty technical, I'd hoped they'd offer and easier fix. :steamfacepalm:

There might be. You could simply delete ddraw.dll from the game folder however that can potentially cause other problems.
