Only way to use keyboard/mouse is to either use some virtual joystick program, or to replace the ddraw.dll with the one from here (see also other guides/threads, though they are more about the graphics improvements): https://github.com/rdoeffinger/xwa_ddraw_d3d11/releases
until I get a controler that works with the game or a joystick that does so
which will likely be never
due to the country I live and my own finances I just cant afford to get a flight stick for a minority of games; but I am itching for some old style flight sims, specially stuff in depth as these games

my neighbor and i both used that joystick on this same game. was the best joystick ive used still to this day. which is frightening all things considered.
