My VGA cooler goes loud when I get the error, it's bizarre.
So many AAA games uses 3.0 or 4.0 shader, why this have to use 5.0 if is dx10? Sorry, but I'm really sad.
I was unable to run the game at all. It didn't matter if I pressed play from Steam or Uplay, it would pop up with the CD key thing and I hit play once again and then nothing happened. I ended up downloading a cracked version of the game and when I tried to run it, it had an error (something about a .dll file) and upon searching for a solution to THAT error, I came across this.

I downloaded the three files (once you hit download) and repaired what was already on my computer. (The _arm file didn't run at all). After restarting my computer, I tried to run the cracked version, and it took me to Uplay and wanted me to activate it. Of course, I didn't have a spare key so I didn't. Then, from my library, I pressed play on the real copy of AC: Chronicles: China and it worked. Sorry for the long post as I'm not sure what steps led to a solution, but now I am able to play the game and hopefully just installing the files from the link will allow others to play as well.
When I hit download on those files, it doesn't even start the download at all ? I click try again still nothing lol
For everyone, not knowing what I'm talking about, let me quote myself from another thread:
I had the issue that the game crashed every time, I switched to full screen. Made me really mad, because I wanted to upload the first episode of my German let's play of this game.
Then I tried to run it in Windows Vista SP2 compatibility (track down Steam\SteamApps\common\Assassins Creed Chronicles China\Binaries\Win32\ACCGame-Win32-Shipping.exe and switch it on in the properties) and it runs flawless since then. I hope this helped one or two of you guys.
Could you please verify your PC specs with me and that they meet the minimum requirements?
I labeled it as steam, then added in the title thats this request is made for ACC
Yep, me too.
Hope I get a refund. I checked my system requirements, I don't want to change my GPU now, the game is great, but I think the Ubisoft Admin coming here and blame us for not checking is not cool. I can run AAA titles with my GPU. I doesn't critczing the company, but I really want my money back, I'm not on a good financial situation now.
