Practical Noob Guide

This is a guide for noobs who are looking for general goals and things to consider rather than all the details. If you are looking for a guide that explains how to do things like pick up items, or focus skills, become a champion or get a quest... or other basic mechanics this is not that guide.

This guide will help you create a new character and focus on sustaining your growth in game from the start, along with some tips and tricks.

Lets start.

Primary goals

1. Get lv 6
2. First Teir Defense Kit and engraving
3. Vault
4. noob axe

1)

Create your character up, Choose black or cyan realm... escape the orc prison.
It doesn't really matter what weapons you get. You need to be comfortable fighting with your fists and that is the approach you are going to take. Use whatever you can and always use highest damage weapon. Dont worry about any items or loosing them... grind forth powerfully and directly.

As soon as you get champion go to Inala and get the quest. Quickly run to Lysis and kill bees and rabbits along the way as you run straight south along the tree line. DO NOT go right into the forest path when you approach it. Make sure you loot all gold and protect and loot a rabbit pelt if you get one. When you reach the hut go in and get Life skill from the witch then head straight back to castle.

Run into bank fast and drop your gold and then run to Inala and finish your quest... Collect your reward.

Do not buy anything... keep saving gold.

GET THE BAT QUEST.

Head straight to the bat cave and start killing bats... Kill all... dont leave once you finish the quest, keep killing bats until you are level 3... collect ALL gold. If you get bat ears SAVE THEM by picking them up and dropping them behind a wall. You dont have room to carry them around right now.

****** TIP AND TRICK ******
you can stash items behind walls and trees to use as a temp storage when you are farming or before you have a vault.

Once you get lv 3 go turn in your quest to Inala and collect your reward.

DROP YOUR GOLD OFF AT BANK NOW...

Do not buy anything... keep saving gold.

Now you must do your first grind. GO back to the bat cave and grind bats until you are lv 6 and collect all gold. Make frequent bank drops while you are grinding and make sure you save all of your money and buy noting.

Keep farming bats until lv 6.

Collect and save all gold.

Dont get distracted and caught up in other players.

Once you hit lv 6 you are ready for the next stage.

2)

Now that you are level six your first priority is going to be to get the following items WITHOUT purchasing them. Go to Inala and get the rogues quest

2x leather boot
1x leather helm

Do not worry about doing Inala quest... make sure you have the quest but you are not focusing on completing it right now.

What you want to do is make sure all of your gold is banked and that you inventory is clear and head to rogues. Do not buy anything and do not try to spend your gold... keep saving. Start fighting slowly, do not go into theives room... look for a group that is fighting and follow them around, fight along side them and eventually you will get shoes and leather helm. Do not go to Ratinger spawn and just sit there and wait... keep moving and searching for leather.
Ask players for leather boots for free if you see them. Make gold dumps to bank every time you get 75 gp... Or every time your inventory is full and you need to sell... YOU ARE STILL NEW and need to not die and loose gold.

Once you have 2x leather boot and 1x leather helm then you need to do your first engraving.
Head back to town and clear all of your inventory and grab enough gold to engrave both boots and the leather helm... it should cost around 75-100gp. Also now is a good time to engrave your weapons. Hopefully you have been saving your gold and should have several hundred saved up.

3)

Now that you have your basic newb ♥♥♥♥ engraved you are ready for your first major goal.

START SAVING FOR A VAULT... you need 1000 gold and your going to spend it on vault asap. You can start grindining out rouges or the bat cave. Avoid theif room if you can. Fight in ratinger but dont sit there waiting.... collect items and sell every time you inventory is full.
STAY MOVING, stay active.... Dont buy anything yet... keep using hatchets if you have to (daggers are best drop you can get atm) sell everything you can find. By the time you have enough gold for the vault you will be done with Inala quest...

Go to the banker and get your vault, then go to Inala and turn in your quests... Keep getting her quests.... and you will get the Rogue leader quest.

drop all gold, sell all enventory and head back out to ratinger and fight in that room, telling people you need the last hit.... eventually you will get it.

Now you have a vault.

PUT ALL PELTS, EARS, SCALPS... all collectables and spare gear into your vault. Never sell pelts and scalps and bat ears, always save them up for later when you make potions out of them.

4)

Your main task now that you are up and running is to get 2 Axes that do 8 damage...
Buy them from a player, or get them for free from a player....
Keep farming while you search for a buy... or just buy them from the vendor if you are feeling rich. Make sure you engrave them ASAP.

Forget about the wolf quest and all of that garbage and just focus on getting your axes and doing the quests for Talavor...

Start clearing the ratinger room and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the rogues in well oiled runs you learned in your earlier grinds... Start to venture slowly into theives but i tell you that you must be careful and trust no one in there...

Once you hit lv 10 in life you should easily be able to kill everything in the rogue den and collecct the loot and sell...

And from that point on your are no longer a super noob but you are just a mid level noob.
