We are aware some steering wheels are currently not supported on WRC 5.

Our team is already working on the problem and we are doing our best to satisfy your expectations.

How long do we gonna wait for whell pach? My wheel is trustmaster 458 ferrari. The whell is detect butit does not work correct !! Hurry UP fellows.

This is the same garbage as WRC 4 and I'll bet they just talk the BS talk and will NEVER fix it, just like it was never fixed in WRC 4. This looks pretty much the same as 4.

I'll guess the current team inherited a pile of crap framework from the previous team and just floated a s-h-i-t biscuit down the river to Ripoffsville.

If you check out Sebastien Loeb Rally which is the dev team that used to be on this project, it looks about as lousy, it has pretty much the same interface, it's plagued by all the same problems with controllers and it's floating down the same stream to Ripoffsville.

Don't count on anything getting fixed. They'd probably have to rewrite and I'll bet it's not going to happen. Get a refund while you can.

Like many Sim heads, I use a separate wheel, separate pedals using a well known manufacturers interface, separate shifter and a separate brake. All work everywhere but WRC 4, this pile of junk and for course that turd biscuit SLR.

Incredibly the problems WRC 5 has to get the different steering wheel to operate in the game
Why should it be a hassle to get most types of steering wheel to function in this game??
Does not have the problems of Dirt rally ...

Finally i have found a workaround to get the MOMO wheel work with the game, you can go into InputDeviceConfig.lua open file with notepad, file is located in WRC 5\Common\Settings folder and add the GUID for the wheel. GUID can you find in Control Panel > Device Manager > Right Click on Device > Properties > Details Tab > Change 'Property' to Driver Key > Guid will be displayed in 'value' section
Here is my strings in the text file, my GUID on the wheel is: 9d7debbc-c85d-11d1-9eb4-006008c3a19a

Copy from my InputDeviceConfig.lua

After you done that, save the file and start the game, go into options/controls and run axis detection.

i have a thrustmaster T500RS wheel an two thrustmaster TH8A shifter
1, TH6A shifter for gear shift
2. TH8A shifter for analog handbrake

Please modified fie handbrake setting so that it is recognized shifter Thrustmaster TH8A in analog mode (multi-USB)
