Note: This isn't the article, but the guy is right: Sakurai went out of his way and said if Freddy was in smash, he wouldn't be Freddy anymore. They would have to change s sh*t ton about him and how he looks.

If freddy was In smash His Projectile would be his Top hat and he could stun someone when he throws his Microphone and gets a succesful hit but hes never gonna be in the game

FNAF is a horror game and Smash is a kid's game. There's no way a FNAF character would make it in Smash, not to mention the only one who would have a good moveset would be the Puppet (Springtrap, Balloon Boy, Foxy, Freddy, Chica, Bonnie and the toy animatronics are limited by their servos even though some of these are possessed, not to mention they're too basic for a good moveset, and Golden Freddy is a ghost so she can't be harmed)

luigi was in a horror game

A kid's horror game. It's not like the ghosts look scarier than say...Springtrap (at least before you get used to him). The only reason the animatronics in FNAF look kiddy is because of what they are supposed to be (entertainers for kids). The only animatronics in FNAF that look scary (or just a bit creepy) are Springtrap (from FNAF 3), the phantom animatronics (from FNAF 3) and the nightmare animatronics (from FNAF 4)

Well, the Pizzeria had a low budget at the time of FNAF 1, so they had to reformat the withered animatronics instead of the superior toy animatronics (which were ditched because one of them, Mangle most likely, caused The Bite of '87)
