....well what happened to Springtrap?

Hello wonderful people of the internets,

this isnt so much of a theory as it is a question. From what I noticed in either ending of FNAF 3, the only characters that are involved in the (final) minigame are the dead children/animatronics. This is the case for both good and bad endings. If you get the good ending, it shows how the children "move on" and are freed from the animatronics; a hypothetical or alternate event as opposed to what actually happened, ergo the "bad ending" where it only shows how Springtrap came about.

My question is, based on the final minigame, we know how Springtrap began. But what happened to him? According to the news clipping you get after beating Nightmare mode it states that "Fazbears Fright" burned down and only a few items were recovered and sold at auction. If you brighten up the image, it confirms that a distorted looking Springtrap is behind the Freddy plushy. But thats about it.

So what the hell happned? We know how he started, we know who he is possessed by and we know he survived the fire but one big plot hole: If he survived, what happens next?

Is the still possessed Springtrap just going to be sitting in some storage bin wacking off for the rest of time?

Why not show what happened to him if FNAF 3 is truly the end?

This is why I believe a prequel game is plausable.

THEORY:

The Puppet left him that way.

After freeing the children who had been stuck in animatronic suits for years, what better way to let the Purple Man experience their pain then to leave him alive, possessing an animatronic, trapped for eternity while the children move on.

And he survived the fire

And will be sold and bought by some random ding dong

Surprised nobody is as interested in this as I thought they would be. Either I am missing something obvious or the fact that nobody seems to acknowledge the the lack of explination of what happened to Springtrap. Could perhaps lead to another game.

Those minigames happend during the first game, so after that, FNAF3 happend. Tell ya what, I liked the good ending where you helped the possessed animatronics be at peace.

I know they took place during the first game and I don't know what prompted that. Regardless, the question is still unanwsered, "What happened to Springtrap?"
