Something I've been wondering about Toy Chica...
Why can she take her beak off? Like, I understand the horror aspect, but what was the kid-friendly goal there?

There are several theories on why she can detach her beak. Some of them... are naughty.

It's simple. The animatronics are made up of parts. It's not about being kid-friendly; it's a machine.

Likely it was just a part that was faulty, like Foxy's endoskeleton. Maybe the child's soul inside it was so confused it took off it's beak at night from insanity.

Maybe it's for the purpose of cleaning the animatronic? I mean how else do you think the toy's get so shiny? The employees obviously must clean them every day or something to get them fresh and new, and perhaps Chica's beak is in the way of them accessing her endoskeleton? I'm just taking a guess here

maybe because was broken and nobody fixed it .... I mean the employers were lazy and stupid so....anyway it's just a thoughts

It was so she could make a taco out of it, and fill it with some tasty paper. Then, she would take this and put sauce on it, and then put it back on. This kept her sustained through the day.

You see, though, this is a metaphor: Toy Chica feels empty on the inside, so she fills her beak with food, and this comforts her, but due to her perpetual emptiness, she will eventually crumble into a singularity and die.
