Really, because this is fun, right?
The game is bad because Scott's cranking them out and not putting effort in them.
The applies to the original game too.
the first two games had proper suspense. anything could jump out at anytime.
spring trap doesn't do anything if you see him in your room untill you put up one of the screens.
spring trap's kill animation is slow and he essentially just walks in calmly.
barely any suspense there. hell even if he comes in unexpected his "attack" is so calm and quiet that it's not even that bad.
hell doesn't he only actually do ♥♥♥♥ if you pull down the screen most of the time? so essentially you can be prepared for the jump.
you know what scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me? FNAF 2. winding the music box AND ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FOXY JUST JUMPS OUT OF THE SCREEN NOT EVEN PULLING IT DOWN. JUST FOXY IN MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FACE.
the phantoms appear for a second or two before they do anything. so the suspense is gone there. pretty much all of them scare you the first time. and then you just know what is going on. BB scared the CRAP out of me the first time. but now. he never gets me. ever.
I like the atmosphere of the game. it's gritty as ♥♥♥♥. I like the DESIGN of spring trap. but the thing that made the previous games so popular(lets be honest. its the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jumpscares) is barely there anymore?
I'll admit, the original was pretty good and had a nice concept. It was ruined by popularity, just like anyone or anything can be.
It was both good and bad.
