this is not a bug nor a glitch as most people think, it is an actual hard-coded mechanic that scott implemented, it might seen unfair but most if not 100% of the time its triggered when springtrap is close to the office enough so that the ambience can be heard, so if phantom freddy isnt in the hallway and the ambience is still playing, springtrap is either cam 05, 04, 03, 02 or in your window or in your door (on which its game over as you can lure away afton if hes passed the glass window). SO, if you see springtrap in any of the other cameras when the ambience is playing, its a jinx. the most common cameras hallucination afton appears in are cams 09 and 08, ive never seen him in any other camera.
and if people still think its a glitch, phisnom, creator of fnaf +, helped clickteam update the mobile ports of the games so they could be a faithful to the original pc release as possible, which means he got exclusive access to the source code of the games, and he has confirmed that the fake springtraps are an intended game mechanic and not a bug.
