Won't Start/Run

Black screen opens in a separate window but game fails to run, same with the rest of the games except for plants vs. zombies and zuma. Just black screen of death. Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah, it starts by sizing down my resolution and then just fails. I can't seem to figure out why as of yet.

I'm having the same issue, both on the Steam and Origin version. I wish I could force the game to launch at windowed mode or low res to configure my settings but the "-windowed" launch option doesn't work.

I managed to get it working by brute force, alt+tabbing many times, until I managed to get to the game screen and changed to windowed in-game. You guys might want to try it.

So, I have had this happen with other games as well. I found that turning off all my monitors except one lets the game work. It is clearly either a problem with the game and/or Windows 11. It sucks to play a game (like Peggle Nights) and not be able to do ANYTHING else due to it working only if I turn off my other monitors. One final note, once I turned off all my monitors and ran this game, I was able to switch between Fullscreen/Windowed (it refused to save that settings while it did the minimizing bullcrap)
UPDATE: Once I was able to launch it due to disconnecting all other monitors, I was also able to uncheck Fullscreen and have it save. I can now reconnect all monitors and play it in windowed mode (although it is very small on the screen) but at least I can do additional things while playing!
